Please take a few minutes to read our terms and conditions so that there are no surprises later on. Most importantly make sure you agree with our payment, cancelation and health and safety as well as care and damage policies.


These are the Standard Terms and Conditions of Splendour Charters. Please read them because they are important. To make it easy, we kept them simple.

All items listed under the Reservations section on


Personal expenses
Personal travel insurance and third-party liability insurance.
Expenses incurred while not on-board the boat
Transfers (unless stated on the website), local visits, on-land transport, community fees, additional excursions, meals on land etc unless stated on our website
Alcohol and minibar expenses

Valid until further notice and for bookings made from 15th of April 2020

  • Due to the worldwide situation related to the Covid-19 virus, Splendour charters will ask for a deposit of 10% to confirm the cruise at the time the clients decide to process the booking. The remaining payment will be due 30 days before the departure of the cruise.
  • If the cruise has to be cancelled more than 30 days before the cruise departure by the charterer, the 10% DP will be kept as cancellation fee.
  • If the cruise has to be cancelled less than 30 days before the cruise departure by the charterer, the full booking value will be kept as cancellation fee. 
  • In the case Splendour charter will have to cancel the cruise due to government or local regulations or any reason out of our control related to the Covid-19 virus, Splendour charters will offer a free reschedule pithing 12 months of the initial charter date.

We require the following payment terms:

    25% Deposit at reservation to secure your booking
    25% Instalment 120 days prior to departure (total of 50% paid)
    50% Final Payment 30 days prior to departure (total of 100% paid)

    Our prices are can be seen on our website and are quoted and charged in Indonesian Rupiah. Prices in other currencies are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors or omissions that may occur.

    It is mandatory that all members of your party are covered by comprehensive travel insurance, including health, accident, death, and cancelation.

    Voyaging on a motor yacht is an exceptional experience, but it also means there are dangerous areas and hazards on a yacht that you need to be careful with.
    The Registrant, the person registering on behalf of all guests, hereby agrees to take full, unconditional and unlimited responsibility for all guests staying during the entire charter period.
    Extra care must be taken with children onboard and it is the parent's responsibility that life jackets are worn at all times. No outside beverages permitted, animals and narcotics are strictly prohibited.

    Our yacht is full of delicate objects. We kindly ask you to take care and treat our yacht with respect.
    In case there is any damage to the yacht or items within, please report it immediately to our staff.
    The Registrant hereby agrees to reimburse Splendour Charters for all damages or losses during your stay.

    Sailing itineraries and daily programs are subjects to change due to weather and sea conditions, availability of safe anchorage, government regulations, and other factors. Every effort will be made to carry out the programs. Program changes may take place during the cruise to take advantage of local cultural events, to adapt to sailing conditions, or in response to other conditions.

    We hope no-one has to cancel a Splendour voyage but we never know, so here are our standard cancellation terms.

    In case you have to cancel:

    More than 180 days prior to departure we will refund 100% of payments made minus an IDR 1,000,000 administration fee
    179 to 30 days prior to departure we will retain 50% of the booking value and refund any payments made above 50% of the booking value
    179 to 30 days prior to departure we offer one-time re-scheduling subject to availability within 365 days of original departure date and a 5% rescheduling fee
    29 days prior to departure until departure, we will retain all payments made

    In case we have to cancel

    We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. We will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements. If we are unable to provide an acceptable alternative, or if circumstances arise beyond our control, we may find it necessary to cancel your holiday before departure. In this case, we will return in full all monies paid by you.

    We have the right to cancel your voyage or parts of your voyage because of war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances without compensation. You will be required to use your travel insurance for any refunds if rescheduling is not an option.

    We do not take responsibility for cancelations due to services provided by other lands, air or sea carriers you will be using on your holiday.

    In absolute discretion, we reserve the right to terminate the yacht charter without notice if any client refuses to comply with the instructions of the captain or any guest’s behavior, in the captain’s opinion, is likely to cause distress, damage or danger to the yacht, other customers, crew or any third party. Upon such termination, our responsibility for your yacht charter ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you. Cancellation charges will apply in accordance with the cancellation terms above.

    You are responsible for your travel documentation including passports and visas for your holiday. We recommend you consult your travel agent or consulate.

    No-one in your party should commit an act contrary to the laws of the country. If any such act is committed, the agreement between us will automatically terminate, but without prejudice to our rights and those of the owner of the charter yacht. You and/or your party will carry full responsibility and answer to the appropriate Authorities. Cancellation charges will apply in accordance with the cancellation terms above.
